These 30mm mounts are meant to be replacements for the standard 1" mounts that are standard on on Rapid Series air rifles. If a shooter decided to use a scope with a 30mm tube body rather than a 1" tube body, the 1" rings can be removed from the rifles and replaced with these 30mm mounts. .
