Leapers Droop Compensation Mount Bases
These mount bases are fixed but provide droop compensation for RWS rifles and other rifles with high levels of droop. Be aware that bareel droop does not affect accuracy or velocity. It's really more of a scope issue than a gun issue. Scopes simply don't have enough clicks of adjustment to compensate for barrel droop at closer airgun ranges. These bases are made to be used wth Weaver style mounts such as the Leapers 2 pc. 30mm or 1 Inch Weaver mounts.
There are two bases available. The MNT-DN034 is made to be used with RWS breakbarrel rifles and the MNT-DN460 is made to be used with RWS Sidelever or Underlever rifles. Both bases have the following features:
- Tapered Design for Upward Compensation
- Recoil Stop Shoulder and Stop Pin to Prevent Bi-directional Recoil
- Three High Strength Screws to Ensure Solid Locking
- Converts RWS Airgun Rail to Picatinny/Weaver Rail for Most Versatile Accessory Applications
- 12 Picatinny Slots on Top Rail to Provide Flexible Eye Relief Adjustment
- Reversible Side Plate to Fit 9mm – 11mm Airgun Dovetail with Tight Tolerance
- Milled Base to Accept Filler Screw on Rifle
